Validation and Operational Quality Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Validation and Operational Quality Specialist to coordinate and oversee validation activities across our logistics sites. The role ensures that projects meet quality, compliance and business objectives through robust validation, calibration and change‑control processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a quality management strategy for validation and calibration.
• Create and maintain standards systems for operational processes.
• Review and approve site validation plans for buildings, HVAC, services and equipment.
• Ensure all validation documentation follows the Validation Master Plan.
• Manage change‑control activities and monitor the Calibration Master Plan.
• Prepare and follow Validation Master Plans, Performance Qualification Protocols and Validation Reports for process, equipment and facility qualification, as well as CSV/software validation.
• Review and approve over‑printing batch records and support investigations.
• Monitor weekly warehouse temperature records and communicate any issues.
• Maintain the Quality Management System and handle customer complaints.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, OH&S and environmental standards, reporting incidents as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Validation, Qualification or Calibration.
• Good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in document review.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities across departments.
