Valuations & Business Modeling Executive 2

About the role

At EY’s Strategy & Transactions practice, the Valuations & Business Modeling Executive 2 will support clients with strategic planning, regulatory compliance, financial reporting and fair‑market‑value documentation. The role offers exposure to a variety of engagements, mentoring and formal learning opportunities within a globally connected team.

Key responsibilities

• Make technical contributions to valuation client engagements and internal projects.
• Research and analyse target businesses, their industries and comparable quoted companies.
• Handle day‑to‑day client queries and attend internal and external meetings related to assignments.
• Perform valuation calculations and analyses, draft presentations and reports, and formulate views on value.
• Present conclusions to the team and contribute to client‑facing presentations of findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or business.
• Minimum three years of business valuation experience, preferably in a professional services or Big 4 environment.
• Strong financial modelling capability, including building models from scratch.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and experience delivering complex projects.
• Progress towards CFA qualification is a plus.
