About the role

Silicon Valley International School in Egypt is recruiting a wide range of teaching and leadership staff for its American and British divisions. Positions include English, Math, Science, Early Years, Entrepreneurship, Lab, Character Building, and senior roles such as Heads of Department and a School Doctor.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the approved curriculum to the assigned grade levels.
• Plan, assess and report on student progress.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment and follow child‑protection protocols.
• Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators and department heads.
• Participate in school‑wide events, extracurricular activities and professional development sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in the teaching subject or Education (Master’s a plus).
• Accredited teaching certificate (e.g., PGCE, IB, TEFL, CELTA) is advantageous.
• 3–5+ years of successful teaching experience with documented student progress.
• English proficiency at C1‑C2 level; Arabic preferred for community communication.
• Current child‑protection training and clean background checks.
• Strong planning, assessment, positive behaviour management, teamwork and growth‑mindset orientation.
