Veterinary Technical & Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Veterinary Technical & Marketing Specialist will provide clinical and preventive care to animals while supporting vaccine development and marketing activities at VBC Vaccines and Biotechnology City.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans for animals.
• Administer vaccines and other therapeutics, ensuring proper preventive care.
• Oversee animal welfare in research or production settings and monitor for adverse events.
• Maintain biosecurity and infection‑control protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support vaccine development and field investigations.
• Document findings, prepare reports, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Educate clients and internal teams on disease prevention, vaccination programs, and best animal‑health practices.

Required profile

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one) in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical skills in animal examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, and preventive care.
• Experience in animal health within research, pharmaceutical, or biopharmaceutical environments (highly desirable).
• Knowledge of biosecurity, animal welfare standards, and national/international regulations.
• Ability to interpret diagnostic tests and clearly document findings.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Commitment to follow SOPs, prioritize tasks, and maintain high attention to detail in a regulated setting.
• Dedication to ethical practices and continuous learning in veterinary medicine, vaccines, and biotechnology.
