Warehouse Assistant Manager – Egypt

About the role

Unilever is seeking a Warehouse Assistant Manager to lead efficient warehouse operations across its Egyptian distribution network. You will be the primary point of contact for logistics, ensuring smooth coordination between factories, co‑packers, and delivery points while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and organise daily and weekly warehouse activities for four distribution centres handling 70K PP.
• Maintain SOP compliance, train staff, and ensure a safe, high‑performance workplace.
• Coordinate dispatching, container movements, and liaise with freight partners to meet priority schedules.
• Manage finished‑goods, packaging, and inventory, including electronic receipt of inbound goods and quarterly physical counts.
• Oversee consumable stock levels, raise purchase orders, and monitor budgetary targets.
• Implement back‑hauling projects and digital initiatives to improve OTIF performance.
• Collaborate with procurement to negotiate SLA contracts with transport service providers.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field) or equivalent.
• Proven ability to lead mixed teams of white‑ and blue‑collar staff.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on cost control and operational efficiency.
