Workforce Staffing Specialist – High Volume Hiring

About the role

Amazon's Workforce Staffing (WFS) team in Giza, Egypt, is seeking a detail‑oriented specialist to drive high‑volume hiring for the MENA region. You will manage end‑to‑end recruitment operations, ensuring that labor needs are met during both peak periods and steady‑state demand.

Key responsibilities

• Execute high‑volume hiring plans to meet weekly and seasonal labor demand, including peak events such as Ramadan, Prime Day, and White Friday.
• Manage the full candidate funnel from sourcing to Day 1 start, maintaining cycle time, conversion, and show‑rate benchmarks.
• Coordinate and run mass hiring events (in‑person and virtual) with seamless candidate experience.
• Track and report hiring KPIs such as fill rate, cost per hire, candidate drop‑off, and defect rates.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, and HR site leaders to translate labor requirements into actionable hiring schedules.
• Monitor applicant funnel metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Support labor acquisition strategies, including job advertising and talent‑pool utilization.
• Manage hiring event logistics, attendance forecasting, and candidate communications to reduce no‑shows.
• Oversee relationships with 3rd‑party staffing vendors, ensuring SLA compliance and quality standards.
• Analyze hiring data, flag risks, and recommend staffing plan adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with local labor regulations and Amazon hiring policies.

Required profile

• 5+ years of human resources experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and procedures.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
