About the role
Syrve is seeking a proactive Accountant to support its operations in Egypt. The role blends core accounting duties with administrative and operational support, offering variety and ownership for a detail‑oriented professional.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and maintain accurate documentation.
- Process payments with local banks, including salaries, taxes and supplier invoices.
- Handle e‑invoicing, ensuring compliance with Egyptian regulations.
- Prepare and file government‑related payments and filings.
- Maintain accounts receivable, collect and organize client documentation.
- Coordinate client license renewals after payments.
- Support the Sales team during peak periods and assist with client onboarding.
- Oversee office logistics such as purchasing supplies, coordinating cleaning services, and managing couriers.
- Conduct vendor research and negotiations, and contribute to internal operational improvements.
Required profile
- 2–3+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Solid understanding of routine accounting operations, AR/AP processes and e‑invoicing systems.
- Experience working with bank and government payment procedures.
- Accounting certification (CPA, CMA or local equivalent) is a strong plus.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities, with the capacity to multitask and work independently.
