Accountant – Financial Operations (GL, Tax, Reporting)

About the role

D_Dialogue is seeking a detail‑driven Accountant to own the full spectrum of financial operations, from general ledger management and tax compliance to reporting and audit support. The role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial data that informs strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Record, review, and maintain accounting transactions in line with company policies and applicable standards.
• Manage General Ledger activities—including journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger maintenance using Odoo ERP.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely reconciliation of all balance‑sheet accounts.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Monitor and reconcile customer and supplier accounts for accuracy.
• Prepare financial reports and schedules to support management decision‑making.
• Process payroll transactions and employee expense reimbursements accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax regulations (VAT, payroll tax, and other statutory requirements).
• Monitor cost accounting activities, analyze cost variances, and support budgeting processes.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and financial information.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS is a plus and familiarity with Egyptian tax regulations.
• Advanced analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Odoo ERP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
