Accountant & US Tax Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accountant / US Tax Specialist to join our team in Alexandria. The role focuses on preparing U.S. tax returns and handling bookkeeping for U.S.-based clients, offering hands‑on exposure to American accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review U.S. individual and business tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065).
• Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks for U.S. clients, including bank, credit‑card and loan reconciliations.
• Analyze financial statements, identify discrepancies and prepare supporting schedules.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams on tax and financial matters.
• Assist with tax planning, compliance projects and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Fresh graduate status.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Required skills

• QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online).
• Tax preparation software such as Drake Tax, ProSeries or UltraTax.
• Microsoft Excel.
