Accounting Manager – KSA & Oman Subsidiaries

About the role

Paymob is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead financial control activities for its subsidiaries in Saudi Arabia and Oman. The role ensures accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls while supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for KSA and Oman entities, including month‑end and year‑end closings.
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with IFRS and local regulations.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure compliance with local tax rules, VAT, ZATCA requirements, and statutory filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Monitor cash flow, treasury activities, and financial transactions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Analyse performance and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Lead, mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local financial reporting standards and internal controls.
• Experience managing accounting across multiple legal entities.
• In‑depth understanding of VAT and tax compliance in KSA and/or Oman.
• FinTech, payments or technology industry experience is a plus.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
