Accounting & Reporting Associate

About the role

Nestlé Egypt is looking for an Accounting & Reporting Associate to perform financial reporting (CACT) for assigned markets within the CWAR and ESAR regions. The role also strengthens balance sheet integrity by following up on open items against Nestlé Internal Balance Sheet Standards (NIBS) and Nestlé Accounting Standards (NAS), and supports GL reconciliation and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial reporting (CACT) for assigned markets within the CWAR and ESAR regions.
• Analyze and follow up on balance sheet open items to ensure account accuracy through NIBS and NAS compliance.
• Take part in projects and initiatives that improve the GL reconciliation team's processes.
• Carry out PEC activities for the GL Reconciliation and Reporting team on time and in line with agreed KPIs.
• Assess the financial accuracy of accounts, manage sanity checks and apply market-defined internal control procedures.
• Ensure 100% FTQ for financial reporting, maintain quality closing-booklet reconciliations, and improve the aging of open GL line items.
• Join improvement projects aimed at higher productivity and cost reduction.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration (Accounting / Finance) or Economics.
• At least 2 years of sustained high performance in financial accounting or accounting operations.
• Strong financial reporting knowledge.
• Proficiency in English and the local market language where applicable.
