AFU Issuing Officer – Credit Card Operations

About the role

The AFU Issuing Officer will support credit‑card operations by processing a variety of financial and non‑financial requests. The role ensures that all requests are handled accurately, within defined service level agreements, and before system cut‑off times.

Key responsibilities

• Process financial and non‑financial card requests within the specified turnaround time (TAT) with high accuracy.
• Handle email inquiries professionally and provide timely follow‑up for approvals from other departments.
• Record daily requests in the MIS tracker and update the scorecard each day.
• Adhere to service level agreements, highlight issues during business‑as‑usual activities, and resolve client queries or complaints promptly.
• Maintain compliance with operating policies, confidentiality agreements, and internal HR regulations.
• Attend scheduled meetings, complete assigned training on time, and be flexible to work weekends or extended hours at month‑end.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Commerce or Information Systems.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• 1‑2 years of experience in banking, fintech, e‑payments, or related digital financial services.
• Exposure to CRM applications and Way4 is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills, customer‑service orientation, and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Experience with CRM applications.
• Familiarity with the Way4 banking system.
