Agriculture & Irrigation Engineer

About the role

The Agriculture & Irrigation Engineer will oversee all landscaping and agricultural activities across multiple facilities and communities. You will ensure optimal water use, plant health, and compliance with environmental standards while supporting sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage landscaping and agricultural works at assigned sites.
• Plan, operate, and maintain drip, sprinkler, and automated irrigation systems.
• Monitor plant health, soil conditions, fertilizers, and pest‑control programs.
• Maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, and ornamental plants.
• Develop and implement landscape maintenance schedules and annual agricultural plans.
• Coordinate with contractors, monitor performance, and ensure quality of work.
• Conduct site inspections and produce technical reports on conditions and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Optimize operational costs related to landscaping, irrigation, and agricultural materials.
• Support water‑conservation and eco‑friendly practices.
• Respond to operational issues with technical solutions.
• Prepare regular performance reports and analyze data for strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural & Irrigation Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in landscaping, irrigation, or facilities management, preferably in real‑estate or large‑community settings.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, plant maintenance, soil management, and fertilizers.
• Familiarity with facilities‑management operations and contractor supervision.
• Understanding of sustainability and water‑saving techniques.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work on‑site and manage multiple locations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
