Application Development Specialist

About the role

The Application Development Specialist will join a newly formed team building a financial API platform. You will work on modernising existing APIs, creating new micro‑services, and ensuring seamless integration with external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new micro‑services using .Net technologies.
• Extract business ideas from existing objects and design modern API methods.
• Enhance performance and reliability of current APIs.
• Participate in the monetisation of released APIs.
• Analyse and optimise SQL queries to improve API efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as required by the company.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 0+ years of experience in software development.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency (speaking, listening, reading, writing).

• .Net Framework and .NET application development
• API design and exposure via Swagger
• Database design, T‑SQL and PL/SQL
• Query optimisation and performance tuning
• API testing with Postman and SoapUI
• Design patterns (stateless design, dependency injection, SOLID, Clean Code)
• Microservices architecture
• Git version control and branching strategies
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• DevOps mindset and CI/CD practices
