Application Management Consultant

About the role

The Application Management Consultant will own the full lifecycle of three critical enterprise applications that serve users across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. You will act as the single accountable owner for product planning, financial governance, vendor coordination, compliance and architecture, ensuring the solutions remain secure, performant and aligned with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute application portfolio and product planning strategies.
• Lead Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) activities, including ISO 27001, SOC 2 and SIG assessments.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, purchase orders and invoice processes.
• Orchestrate requirements gathering and stakeholder communication across global time zones.
• Maintain KPIs, operational monitoring and reporting.
• Produce and maintain documentation and architectural diagrams.
• Drive project management for upgrades, global roll‑outs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in application management or IT service management within a global enterprise.
• Proven track record managing business‑critical applications across multiple regions.
• Experience with vendor management, contract lifecycle administration and GRC frameworks.
• Familiarity with enterprise printing architectures and supply‑chain IT systems is a plus.

Required skills

• Python, PowerShell, Bash scripting for automation.
• ITSM tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and incident/change/problem management processes.
• Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint.
• API integration, ESB, data pipelines.
• Enterprise application architecture (multi‑tier).
• Cloud platforms, virtualization, networking and hosting concepts.
• Windows Server and Linux administration.
• GRC frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, SIG.
• Automation and task‑orchestration tools.
