Architect – Full‑time On‑site Role

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Architect position is based in Zayed with Lavana Engineering Consultants. You will develop architectural concepts, create schematic designs, and produce detailed drawings and specifications that meet project requirements and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and schematic designs aligned with client needs.
• Produce detailed construction drawings, specifications, and BIM models.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive, buildable solutions.
• Review shop drawings and material submittals, and resolve design‑related issues on site.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety and sustainability standards.
• Participate in client meetings, support project documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture or a closely related field.
• Strong foundation in architectural design and experience translating client requirements into functional, aesthetic solutions.
• Project management experience, including planning, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to work on‑site in Ezbet Zayed and communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset, and commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability.

Required skills

• BIM and parametric design concepts.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar design and drafting software.
• Technical drawing skills.
