Architecture Tender Engineer

About the role

The Architecture Tender Engineer will join Details Contractors’ on‑site team in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid, supporting the preparation of competitive and compliant tender packages for architectural and construction projects. The role combines technical review of drawings and specifications with cost estimation and coordination across design, procurement and project management functions.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings and specifications to extract design intent and scope.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for architectural works.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, financial proposals and technical submissions.
• Analyse project risks, raise clarifications and propose value‑engineering options.
• Draft method statements, RFIs and other tender‑related documentation.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement and site teams to ensure timely submission.
• Support handover of awarded projects to execution teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of construction practices, materials and local codes.
• Experience in tendering, estimation or technical office roles within construction or fit‑out projects.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
