Area Supervisor – Local Shops

About the role

As an Area Supervisor for local shops, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance and daily operations of multiple retail branches within a designated district. You will ensure that fulfillment processes run smoothly across various retailers and work closely with store supervisors to develop and maintain efficient workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and improve performance of several shop locations, ensuring seamless order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with store supervisors to evaluate, develop, and enforce fulfillment processes and workflows.
• Supervise the shopper process for daily orders, including picking, segregation, and packing.
• Manage work schedules for shoppers and ensure adherence to operational policies.
• Lead the team in processing orders, handling customer complaints related to incorrect picking, and maintaining high service standards.
• Control damages, errors, and mis‑picks while striving for excellence in customer service.
• Coach and train new store supervisors and shoppers on established procedures.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in order fulfillment and managing picker teams.
• 1–2 years of operational experience within grocery stores.
• Well‑organized, able to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Open‑minded with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building abilities.
• Effective decision‑making, issue‑resolution, and analytical skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and driven to achieve results.
