About the role

We are seeking an experienced Asian Chef to lead the culinary team of our Asian restaurant at Crowne Plaza West Cairo. The role combines hands‑on food preparation with team leadership, guest interaction and operational oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Asian restaurant culinary team.
• Interact with guests to gather feedback and resolve complaints.
• Manage food cost budgets, ensure accurate recipe costing and portion control.
• Coordinate with hotel departments to meet kitchen needs and respond to service requests.
• Maintain inventory levels, oversee stock quality, and ensure proper storage and rotation.
• Prepare and update culinary operation manuals and standard recipe cards.
• Plan creative menus and ensure consistent food preparation according to standards.
• Administer weekly work schedules and annual leave planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading an Asian cuisine kitchen.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to handle guest feedback.
• Good financial awareness for budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to hygiene, uniform standards and presentation.
