About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Cost Manager to support our construction cost management team. You will work closely with senior cost managers to ensure accurate quantity take‑offs, cost estimates and payment recommendations for a variety of projects.
Key responsibilities
- Review drawings and specification sheets to perform quantity take‑offs and prepare Bills of Quantities.
- Assist in preparing and presenting cost estimates and developing cost plans.
- Evaluate construction works and produce interim and final payment recommendations.
- Assess and value changes and variations, ensuring all cost and quantity records are organised.
- Support the assembly of contract documentation and ensure deliverables meet client requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 1‑3 years of experience in quantity surveying, construction methods and materials.
- Strong analytical and logical abilities with the capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.
