About the role
JLL's Project and Development Services (PDS) team is looking for an Assistant Cost Manager for a site-based project in Sheikh Zayed, Cairo. The role supports cost and commercial leadership in delivering pre- and post-contract services, covering budget management, tender support and contract administration.
Key responsibilities
- Support cost and commercial leadership in pre- and post-contract delivery.
- Manage and update project budgets.
- Take commercial meeting minutes.
- Pre-contract: review detailed measurements, sections of BOQs, handle tender query responses, manage the PQQ process and contribute to value engineering at each design stage.
- Post-contract: contract administration, site walks with project teams, cash flow reports, monthly payment recommendations, weekly commercial dashboards, variations and project and claims closing.
Required profile
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in the Middle East.
- Degree in a related subject (BSc Quantity Surveying).
- Experience pre- and post-contract in project or programme delivery teams.
- MRICS is advantageous but not essential.
Required skills
- Advanced use of CostX, Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
