Assistant Guest Relations Manager

About the role

Rixos Premium Seagate, a luxury resort in Sharm El-Sheikh offering an All-Inclusive concept, is looking for an Assistant Guest Relations Manager. The role supports the Guest Relations Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences, supervising the Guest Relations team and handling VIP services and service recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support the daily operations of the Guest Relations team, including briefings, shift handovers, roster preparation and coaching.
• Handle guest complaints and VIP requests, coordinate VIP arrivals and special occasions, and follow up on service recovery.
• Maintain guest profiles, preferences and complaint records, and monitor guest feedback, online reviews and satisfaction surveys.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering and Security, and escalate unresolved issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, guest safety, security and data protection, and prepare daily reports and shift handover notes.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Guest Relations or Front Office, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Experience in guest complaint handling, VIP services and service recovery.
• Familiarity with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) is an advantage.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving and interdepartmental coordination skills.
