Guest Relation Officer - Russian Speaking

About the role

A hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh is looking for a Guest Relation Officer fluent in Russian. The role welcomes guests, handles their needs and keeps the Guest Relations desk running smoothly during shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide smooth check-in and check-out experiences
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests and concerns
• Maintain clear communication with all staff and departments
• Stay informed about VIP arrivals, returning guests and special requests
• Build a comprehensive knowledge of hotel services, facilities and local attractions
• Handle guest correspondence and upsell room categories to maximise revenue
• Keep the Guest Relations desk attended at all times during your shift
• Maintain accurate guest records and resolve complaints in a timely manner
• Follow all safety, security and emergency procedures

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Fluency in English and Russian
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanour
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer systems and hotel management software
• English and Russian
