Assistant Manager – Specialty Leasing

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead our Specialty Leasing function within a premier shopping mall. The role focuses on generating revenue through short‑term leasing concepts such as kiosks, pop‑up stores, and promotional spaces while supporting the overall asset management strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the specialty leasing strategy aligned with mall and asset objectives.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of kiosks, retail merchandising units (RMUs), pop‑up stores and promotional activities.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging retail concepts, seasonal trends and potential partners.
• Negotiate and finalize rental agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Monitor tenant performance, occupancy levels and revenue contributions, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in preparing budgets, revenue forecasts and periodic management reports.
• Build and maintain relationships with brands, agencies and vendors to secure new business opportunities.
• Coach and support Specialty Leasing Executives and administrative staff to achieve performance targets.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of leasing experience, preferably in shopping malls, retail destinations or mixed‑use developments.
• Proven track record of meeting leasing and revenue targets.
• Strong negotiation, business development and commercial acumen.
• Solid understanding of retail real estate, mall operations and tenant management practices.
