Assistant Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

The Assistant Quality Assurance Manager will support the QA Manager in ensuring that all products, services and processes at the Al Fayyum site meet DP World’s quality standards and customer expectations. The role focuses on audit execution, compliance with GMP/GDP, and continuous improvement across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Report audit outcomes to the QA Manager and ensure sites remain compliant with GMP/GDP.
• Prepare audit plans, participate in audit execution, and produce audit reports.
• Manage external audits and coordinate weekly and yearly compliance tasks with the Quality Manager.
• Participate in internal and external audits, supplier qualifications, and follow‑up on CAPA actions.
• Maintain the quality system, identify risks, and serve on internal audit and risk‑control committees.
• Handle customer complaints, ensure corrective actions prevent recurrence, and monitor KPI performance.
• Create, manage, and verify quality system documentation and support training needs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 28000, 22000), PCI, CP, and relevant governmental regulations.
• Participate in food safety, environmental, and safety audits, reporting incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, science or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in quality assurance within a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety, GMP, GDP, and ISO standards.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
