Associate Professor – Industrial Engineering

About the role

The Industrial Engineering Department at Nile University, Egypt’s first entrepreneurial, research‑based national university, is looking for a full‑time Associate Professor. The role involves delivering high‑quality undergraduate education, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting the department’s research and innovation agenda within a dynamic academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Industrial Engineering, including lectures, labs and tutorials.
• Prepare, update and deliver course materials and instructional resources.
• Assess student performance through exams, projects, assignments and provide constructive feedback.
• Mentor students on academic and research projects.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum design, accreditation processes and faculty committees.

Required profile

• PhD in Industrial Engineering.
• Ability to teach undergraduate courses in English.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
