Associate Service Operations Specialist (Linux + Networking + Databases)

About the role

As an Associate Service Operations Specialist you will support SITA’s mission to keep airports and airlines running smoothly. You will deliver high‑quality technical service operations for internal and external customers, ensuring systems are correctly configured, maintained and available according to SITA standards and SLAs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line Service Operations support in line with contracts and SLAs, acting as the single point of contact when required.
• Manage incident and problem resolution, coordinating with resolver groups and escalating to specialised teams to achieve fast restoration.
• Perform preventive and proactive maintenance, monitor systems, replace faulty equipment and replenish spare parts.
• Execute installations, interventions and repairs following industry best practices and SITA guidelines.
• Carry out change, configuration and design activities, documenting and testing enhancements.
• Deliver onsite support during service cut‑overs and maintain clear communication with customers.

• Strong interest in IT service operations within a global aviation environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for interaction with customers and internal teams.
