Athletics Events and Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Athletics Events & Operations Coordinator will plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising and engagement events that support Louisiana State University of Alexandria Athletics. Reporting to the President of the LSUA Foundation, the role works closely with foundation staff, athletics leadership, coaches, and volunteers to deliver donor‑centered experiences and advance fundraising goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage athletics fundraising events, including Generals Athletic Association activities, donor receptions, and game‑day hospitality.
• Handle all event logistics: timelines, budgets, contracts, vendor relationships, registration, guest communications, and on‑site coordination.
• Ensure compliance with LSUA Foundation policies, risk‑management, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the Director of Stewardship & Donor Events to align donor recognition and stewardship activities.
• Support donor engagement initiatives and post‑event follow‑up to strengthen relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience planning and executing fundraising or large‑scale events.
• Strong ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Excellent collaboration skills with athletics staff, volunteers, and senior leadership.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering high‑quality donor experiences.
