Audit & Assurance Manager – Financial Services (Cairo)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Audit & Assurance Manager to lead engagements for clients in the financial services sector in Cairo. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality audit work, building trust with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review documentation of transaction flows and test relevant controls early in the audit cycle.
• Suggest mitigating testing when controls are ineffective and apply professional skepticism to assess fraud risk and potential misstatements.
• Participate in group risk assessment and coordinate work of component auditors.
• Prepare and review referral instructions, evaluate component auditor responses, and conduct regular file checks.
• Engage early with the engagement team, set clear expectations, and manage scheduling and deadlines.

• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on risk identification and mitigation.
