Audit & Assurance Manager

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Audit & Assurance Manager to join its Egypt practice. In this role you will lead audit engagements, build trust with stakeholders, and ensure high‑quality audit delivery across a range of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Review documentation of transaction flows and test relevant controls early in the audit cycle.
• Suggest mitigating testing when controls are ineffective, applying professional skepticism.
• Identify opportunities to add value and integrate specialist expertise into audit teams.
• Participate in group risk assessment and coordinate work with component auditors.
• Maintain file checks throughout the audit and ensure proper file structure for each engagement.
• Engage early with the extended engagement team, communicating expectations, responsibilities, and deadlines.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to build credibility with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on risk and control assessment.
• Experience managing audit engagements and coordinating with component auditors.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a diverse audit team.
