Automotive Brand Director – Luxury & Chinese Market (Hongqi)

About the role

The Brand Director will lead the overall brand strategy, positioning and commercial performance of a premium Chinese automotive brand in Egypt. Reporting to the Board, you will drive market growth, customer engagement, sales and profitability across marketing, sales and after‑sales functions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute brand management, commercial growth and market expansion strategies.
• Lead a cross‑functional team of 30+ staff covering sales, marketing, customer experience and dealer operations.
• Achieve key business KPIs such as vehicle sales volume, profit margins, EBITDA, market share and budget targets.
• Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Net Promoter Score (NPS) standards.
• Oversee after‑sales performance, workshop productivity, service absorption and inventory turnover.
• Direct marketing campaigns, brand positioning, digital marketing and CRM/DMS performance tracking.
• Report market performance, cash flow and financial results to executive leadership and the Board.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, Marketing, Finance or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience with 3–5 years in a senior Brand Director or equivalent role in the automotive sector.
• Proven experience with luxury or premium automotive brands, especially Chinese or European marques.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Strong leadership, strategic vision and commercial acumen.
