Back End Developer (PHP)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Back End Developer to join our on‑site team in El Sheikh Zaid. You will design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using PHP and modern frameworks, ensuring high performance and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications with PHP.
• Work extensively with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Optimize MySQL database structures, queries and ensure data performance.
• Apply OOP principles, MVC architecture and design patterns.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, product owners and other stakeholders.
• Participate in system architecture decisions and code reviews.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level developers.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and support CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional PHP development experience.
• Strong knowledge of OOP and modern PHP frameworks (Laravel preferred).
• Solid experience with MySQL, database design and performance tuning.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Linux‑based environments and version control (Git).
• Understanding of security best practices, CI/CD concepts and deployment workflows.
