Backend Developer – 3 to 11 Years Experience

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance server‑side applications and APIs. The role involves working with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions that support both web and mobile platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices.
• Create and document RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption.
• Optimize database schemas, queries, and data‑access layers for performance.
• Integrate third‑party services and enterprise systems via APIs.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decisions.

Required profile

• 3–11 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming and software design principles.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and communicate effectively with team members.

Required skills

• Java (Spring Boot) or .NET (ASP.NET Core) or Node.js or Python (Django) or Ruby on Rails or PHP (Laravel/Symfony).
• Development of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Git version control.
• Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
• Redis or Memcached for caching.
• Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• GraphQL.
• OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect authentication mechanisms.
