BIM Architecture Team Leader - Ras El Hekma

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for a BIM Architecture Team Leader for a project in Ras El Hekma. The role leads and coordinates the architectural BIM team through the project lifecycle, delivering accurate and timely architectural BIM models and documentation in line with project requirements, BIM standards and company procedures. It acts as a key technical link between the BIM team, the architectural discipline, the technical office, site teams, consultants and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and coordinate the architectural BIM team, allocating tasks according to project priorities and workload.
• Develop and maintain architectural BIM models in Revit and other BIM software, in line with BIM execution plans, EIRs and company standards.
• Review models, drawings, families and deliverables, and coordinate with structural, MEP and other disciplines to resolve clashes.
• Support the BIM Manager in implementing workflows, standards and templates, and monitor progress against milestones and submission schedules.
• Take part in BIM coordination, technical and design review meetings, and help prepare BIM reports, dashboards and progress updates.
• Extract information, quantities, drawings, sections and schedules from models, and support the technical office and site teams.
• Help develop BIM content such as Revit families and templates, and ensure proper model organisation, naming conventions, worksharing and model health.
• Mentor BIM architects and juniors, coach the team, and identify opportunities to improve BIM processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, project procedures, quality standards and HSE requirements, and archive BIM deliverables properly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related engineering/architectural discipline.
• 6-8 years of experience in architectural design, BIM and construction projects, with proven BIM leadership or coordination experience.
• Strong experience implementing BIM in construction and technical office environments.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit Architecture.
• Good knowledge of Navisworks Manage and BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and other architectural/BIM software.
• Understanding of architectural drawings, construction details, specifications and BIM workflows.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, naming conventions, LOD requirements and model development procedures.
