Biomedical Technician

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Biomedical Technician to join our team at Dar Al Orouba Hospital in Cairo. In this full-time, on-site position you will ensure that all medical equipment operates safely and efficiently, directly supporting patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and calibrate a wide range of biomedical devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer and hospital schedules.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve equipment failures promptly.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and hospital safety standards.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate equipment logs.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to guarantee optimal equipment functionality.

Required profile

• Background in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in equipment maintenance and repair of biomedical systems.
• Strong understanding of medical equipment usage and functionality.
• Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to equipment reliability.
• Industry certifications are a plus.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
