Business Analyst – Entry Level Business Intelligence

About the role

The Business Intelligence Analyst I supports data‑driven decision‑making by collecting, analysing, and visualising data. Working within the BI team, you will create reports and dashboards that help improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain recurring and ad‑hoc reports using Power BI or Excel, aligned with business goals.
• Extract, transform and load data from defined sources, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify reporting needs and deliver ad‑hoc data requests.
• Validate report outputs for consistency and deliver them within agreed timelines.
• Maintain and optimise data pipelines for scalable reporting.
• Document report logic, data sources and business definitions.
• Participate in data‑related project milestones such as data mapping and dataset creation.
• Support database platforms including SharePoint lists, Excel and SQL Server.
• Identify and recommend improvements to existing reports and processes.
• Conduct regular audits of identity and access data to ensure compliance.
