Business Development Executive

About the role

As a Business Development Executive at Shutter Studio, you will drive revenue growth by generating qualified leads, acquiring new clients, and managing the full client lifecycle from initial enquiry to post‑event follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Research potential clients, industries and market opportunities to build an active sales pipeline.
• Generate qualified leads through outreach, networking, referrals and other sales activities.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, negotiations and prepare proposals, quotations and commercial offers.
• Close deals and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Build strategic partnerships with agencies, venues, suppliers and other relevant partners.
• Identify upselling, cross‑selling and repeat‑business opportunities.
• Own assigned client engagements, gather and document requirements, and coordinate with Marketing, Operations, Creative and Production teams.
• Monitor project progress, ensure deliverables meet scope and client expectations, and collect feedback for future collaboration.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, prepare regular reports on leads, activities and performance, and provide market insights to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, sales or client acquisition.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet sales targets.
