Business Development Manager – Africa & Eastern Europe

About the role

Archer is seeking a high‑performing Business Development Manager to drive new‑logo acquisition across Africa and Eastern Europe. The role focuses on large enterprises and regulated industries, positioning Archer’s Integrated Risk Management platform as a strategic, AI‑enhanced solution for C‑level executives.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with C‑level and senior executives (CROs, CFOs, Heads of Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit) across target accounts.
• Lead executive conversations on risk, compliance, and governance transformation, positioning Archer as an enterprise‑wide solution.
• Own the full sales cycle for new logos—from prospecting and pipeline generation to deal closure and handover.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans for Africa and Eastern Europe, focusing on sectors such as financial services, oil & gas, government, and telecom.
• Drive outbound prospecting, partner with marketing on events and webinars, and build a robust pipeline aligned to strategic accounts.
• Qualify opportunities using a MEDDPICC‑aligned framework, validating executive sponsorship, economic buyer, and business pain.

Required profile

• Passion for Integrated Risk Management (IRM), GRC, and AI‑driven risk intelligence.
• Proven experience selling complex, enterprise‑level solutions to large organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C‑level stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time across core markets.
• Strong understanding of regulated industries and their risk/compliance challenges.
