Business Development Officer (Construction)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Officer to drive growth within the construction sector for Cairo International Construction Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for uncovering new market opportunities, establishing and nurturing client relationships, and supporting the company’s strategic expansion across Egypt. This role offers the chance to work on high‑profile construction projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities in the construction market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, developers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, project pipelines, and competitive activities to inform strategy.
• Generate leads, prepare proposals, deliver presentations, and negotiate contract terms.
• Collaborate with internal project and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Produce regular reports on business development activities and forecast revenue.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in business development, with a proven track record in the construction industry.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong negotiation, relationship‑building, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple opportunities, and travel within Egypt as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
