Business Intelligence Developer - Reporting & Data Modeling

About the role

Advansys, a solutions provider serving 100+ enterprise customers across 14 countries, is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer with expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and a strong understanding of data warehousing and BI visualization tools. The role covers designing, developing and maintaining reporting and analytical solutions, working closely with business teams, data management and modeling teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage BI projects internally within the team to meet business requirements on time and with high quality.
• Design, develop and maintain reporting and analytical solutions and descriptive models.
• Build a self-service BI environment and dashboards so business users can access data easily.
• Analyze business needs, document specifications and work with modeling and data management teams on new models.
• Take part in data governance and reporting strategies that reduce data redundancy.
• Work with developers on architecture, design, build, testing and enhancement of BI solutions.
• Design, code, test and document data processes, stored procedures and reporting applications following best practices.
• Create outlines, designs and reports, and develop unit, integration and user acceptance test plans.
• Support day-to-day application issues, second-level support tickets and project rollouts.
• Share knowledge, reuse information and follow company governance, BI and data standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or computer engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in the BI field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Data-driven analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of telecom industry standards and technologies.
