Business Process Analyst

About the role

The Business Process Analyst will discover, document, and improve Coptic Orphans' business processes to increase efficiency and align with organizational goals. The role manages the full analysis cycle, from mapping As‑Is processes to recommending improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to conduct process discovery through interviews, workshops, job shadowing and document analysis.
• Document and model process flows in SAP Signavio using BPMN 2.0, maintaining repository integrity and version control.
• Collect and analyze process data (volumes, cycle times, handoffs, rework) using statistical methods to identify trends and support decision‑making.
• Validate As‑Is models with process owners, obtain sign‑off, and identify inefficiencies and root causes.
• Develop To‑Be process models, improvement plans and business cases, and support implementation of approved changes.
• Define and monitor process KPIs, create performance dashboards and report findings to the Process Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in business process analysis, performance analysis or related area.
• Proven knowledge of BPM methodologies and the process lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with fluency in English.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP Signavio and BPMN 2.0 modeling.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma techniques (Green Belt or higher is a plus).
• Experience with analytical tools, statistical methods and process automation tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
