About the role
The hotel is seeking a Cashier to support its Accounting Department. The role combines traditional cashier duties with broader accounting and environmental responsibilities within a luxury resort setting.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Accounting Department in daily operations and follow established policies.
- Monitor customer accounts, prepare invoices, and collect payments.
- Oversee head‑office accounts, reconcile all accounts and produce reconciliation documents.
- Implement and maintain quality‑management and food‑safety systems.
- Carry out environmental initiatives: reduce paper use, promote energy‑saving practices, manage waste disposal and support biodiversity projects.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by hotel management.
Required profile
- Four‑year bachelor's degree.
- Minimum four years of relevant experience (or one year after an associate degree).
- Computer literacy is an asset.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, practices and systems in the field.
- Ability to follow sequential, inter‑related activities.
