CCTV Officer

About the role

The CCTV Officer will be the central point for monitoring all surveillance equipment at our flagship Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt. You will ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property by continuously observing camera feeds, alarms, and access‑control systems, and by responding swiftly to any incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor live CCTV feeds, alarm systems and other surveillance tools to detect suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to security incidents such as disturbances, trespassing, theft, fire alarms, medical emergencies and natural disasters.
• Coordinate with on‑site security staff, management and external authorities as needed.
• Control access to restricted areas using key‑card and biometric systems, and maintain accurate logs.
• Oversee alarm system functionality, troubleshoot malfunctions and ensure proper response to triggered alarms.
• Maintain detailed incident logs and prepare daily security reports for management review.
• Assist in training new control‑room operators and other hotel personnel on security procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in security or control‑room operations is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stay alert, act decisively and work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating CCTV systems.
• Experience with security system monitoring and alarm management.
• Knowledge of key‑card and biometric access‑control technologies.
• Basic troubleshooting of surveillance equipment.
