Center Technician (Plasma Donation)

About the role

We are looking for a Center Technician to join our plasma donation facility. The role involves conducting pre‑donation medical screening, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring a safe, confidential experience for donors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑donation medical screening in line with established guidelines.
• Determine donor Hematocrit (HCT) and protein levels using finger‑stick samples, a Hemastat and a refractometer.
• Set up, monitor, and disconnect the plasmapheresis machine for each donor.
• Assess donor suitability, provide feedback to ineligible candidates, and maintain accurate donor records.
• Ensure donor confidentiality and communicate medical information to medical staff.
• Report unsafe conditions, assist in emergency medical procedures, and comply with local regulations, SOPs, cGMP and company policies.

Required profile

• Attention to detail and ability to follow strict medical protocols.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with donors and staff.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

Required skills

• Operation of Hemastat equipment.
• Use of refractometer for protein measurement.
• Plasmapheresis machine set‑up, monitoring and disconnection.
• Knowledge of cGMP standards and medical screening procedures.
