Chef de Cuisine – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead its restaurant kitchen. You will be responsible for delivering consistent, high‑quality dishes while managing the culinary team and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with all Food & Beverage policies, standards, and sanitation regulations.
• Develop, design, and introduce new menu items, seasonal dishes, and special presentations.
• Plan and control food quantities, plating requirements, and production schedules to meet guest demand.
• Manage purchasing, inventory, and storage to maintain cost efficiency and quality.
• Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing environment.
• Monitor food safety, temperature control, and proper handling of all products.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience while adhering to the operating budget.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of culinary experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field with 2 years of experience.
• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team and manage all food‑related functions in a hotel or resort setting.
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards, food safety regulations, and budget management.
