About the role
The Sheraton Montazah Hotel is seeking a motivated Chef de Partie to join its Food & Beverage team. You will work in a dynamic kitchen environment, preparing special meals, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the service team during busy periods.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
- Thaw frozen items in a refrigerator and maintain accurate food logs.
- Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, garnish, and overall food quality.
- Communicate menu specials, out‑of‑stock items, and excess food usage to chefs and service staff.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance coaching of kitchen staff.
- Follow all safety, security, and company policies, reporting any hazards or incidents.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification required.
Required skills
- Food preparation and cooking according to recipes.
- Operation of kitchen equipment such as ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
- Cold‑food preparation.
