Client Delivery Manager

About the role

The Client Delivery Manager is the single point of accountability for delivering a major enterprise software platform to a large utility client. This governance‑focused role manages the client relationship, drives contractual milestones to formal acceptance, and safeguards the delivery schedule and commercial terms.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact for all delivery matters and run weekly status meetings with written reports.
• Maintain the client stakeholder map and ensure early written escalation of issues.
• Own the master schedule, drive it against contractual milestones, and keep the RAID log up to date.
• Coordinate FAT, SAT, UAT, training and go‑live readiness with the Technical Delivery Lead.
• Chair bi‑weekly steering committees with executive sponsors.
• Drive milestone acceptance sign‑offs, enforce change control, and flag margin or schedule risks to the Delivery Director.
• Support Business Development with change‑order pricing and expansion opportunities.
• Translate client requirements into actionable work for engineering and protect the product roadmap.
• Guide the Project Coordinator on documentation, trackers and invoicing packs.
• Transition the account to support and SLA governance post‑go‑live and identify follow‑on work.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a related field.
• Seven or more years of delivery or project management experience for enterprise software in large organisations.
• Proven experience delivering to Egyptian utility, government or state‑owned clients, understanding procurement culture and formal correspondence.
• Track record of owning contractual milestones through client acceptance and payment.
• Strong technical literacy – able to read architecture diagrams, interrogate estimates and challenge engineering explanations.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
