Clinic Officer / Nurse – Remote Mining Site

About the role

The Clinic Officer (Nurse) provides 24/7 emergency medical response, primary healthcare, and occupational health monitoring for all employees and contractors at the Sukari gold mine, a remote site near Marsa Alam, Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Emergency & Acute Care: Triage, trauma stabilization, wound care, and management of acute medical conditions in an industrial setting.
• Occupational Health: Conduct routine health checks (audiometry, spirometry, vision), issue fitness‑for‑duty clearances, and monitor workplace health.
• Clinic Management: Maintain and audit medical stocks, pharmaceuticals, defibrillators, oxygen supplies, and trauma kits.
• Medical Records: Manage digital and physical patient records, injury logs, and ensure compliance with confidentiality protocols.
• Sanitation & Preventive Care: Perform sanitation, food‑handling, and water‑quality audits; support screening programs and preventive health strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent, with active registration from the Egyptian Ministry of Health.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; ITLS or PHTLS is a strong asset.
• 3–5 years of nursing experience, including at least 1–2 years in an industrial, remote clinic, emergency department, or ICU setting.
• High proficiency in English.
