Cloud Architect – AWS CDK & API Catalog

About the role

The Cloud Architect – AWS CDK & API Catalog will design and support a cloud‑native API Catalog platform built on AWS. You will define scalable architectures, implement Infrastructure as Code with AWS CDK, and create proof‑of‑concepts for key catalog functionalities, ensuring secure, self‑service API management.

Key responsibilities

• Design AWS‑based architecture concepts for the API catalog platform.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK.
• Implement PoC solutions covering selected catalog functionalities.
• Build scalable cloud solutions with Amazon ECS, Amplify v2, ALB, VPC, and CodePipeline.
• Define authentication and authorization models for secure platform access.
• Support multi‑frontend architecture implementation using Amplify.
• Design UX concepts leveraging the Cloudscape Design System.
• Contribute to API Gateway integration and API management capabilities.
• Evaluate alternative solution approaches and prepare technical documentation.
• Collaborate with development, platform, and security teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS CDK.
• Proven experience with Amazon ECS, Amplify v2, CodePipeline, ALB and VPC.
• Deep understanding of authentication and authorization concepts.
