Cloud SOC Design Consultant – Cyber Security

About the role

Deloitte Innovation Hub is seeking a Cloud SOC Design Consultant to lead the design and continuous improvement of its Next‑Gen Detection and Response capability. Based in Cairo, you will bridge strategy and service delivery, providing blueprints for engineers and threat hunters while shaping the overall technical architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the operating model, processes, and technical design for cloud‑based SOC services.
• Research, evaluate, and select cutting‑edge detection and response tooling.
• Develop governance, processes, and ways of working to support the target operating model and service catalogue.
• Act as escalation point for junior architects and collaborate with engineers and threat hunters to analyse dashboard data and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead research initiatives to keep Deloitte at the forefront of cybersecurity practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing SOC or security detection and response solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud security concepts and architecture.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into detailed technical designs and operational processes.
• Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
